WE ARE HAVING IN PERSON WORSHIP

Currently masks are optional; however, in consideration of and care for each other, we will continue to monitor the current reported cases and hospital admissions and may need to return to requiring masks in the future.  We will attempt to improve the ventilation by leaving doors and windows open to allow fresh air in the nave.  All are asked to take care of themselves and if feeling under the weather, to join us via the live stream option on the St. Antony’s Facebook page.

To see our live-stream service, go to our Facebook page a few minutes before 8:00 am or 10:15 am and watch for the live-stream to appear.

Sunday, October 1, 2023 – Eighteenth Sunday after Pentecost / Proper 21 / Year A

Godly Play and a Nursery are offered at the 10:15 am service.

YOUTH GROUP MEETING THIS SUNDAY!
There will be a Youth Group meeting this Sunday, October 1 starting at 11:45am.

NEW BEGINNINGS IN CONTEMPLATION
St. Antony’s Contemplative group will be meeting in our church chapel area Wednesday, October 4, at noon. All seekers of a deeper connection with the Divine Inner Spirit are invited to join us. We are all beginners. Come and see. Come just as you are!
New Beginnings is held every 1st and 3rd Wednesdays

BIBLE STUDY
We will be meeting at 12:30 on Thursdays at the church. Science tells us that they have information from three seconds after the Big Bang; what a great time to read what the Gospel of John has to tell us as he writes: “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God and the Word was God.”
We have the books and they will be available on Sunday for $10 if you choose to buy.

BLESSING OF THE ANIMALS
On Mother Hillary’s first Sunday, October 8, we will be having the blessing of the animals. Please save the date and bring your family pet(s) to be blessed. Dogs must be on a leash and cats and other pets should have carriers.

CHOIR
Choir rehearsals are on some Sundays from 11:45-12:30. Hope you’ll come to rehearsal and join in the fun of singing!  All are welcome.
Upcoming Choir Rehearsal Dates:
Oct. 1
Oct. 29
Nov. 5 (All Saints— Choir will sing at Eucharist)

TRUNK OR TREAT
Spooky season is just around the corner! Chelsea Reeder is coordinating this year’s Trunk or Treat event. There will be a sign-up sheet in the Narthex for those who would like to participate and donate candy. We will have another “Best Decorated Car” contest, the children and their families will vote for.
Please invite your friends and families to this fun Halloween celebration, evening of October 28th from 3 to 7 in the front lawn at St. Antony’s! We look forward to seeing you there!
