Burning the palms for Ash Wednesday

On Shrove Tuesday, we burned the palms from last Palm Sunday to make the ashes for tomorrow’s Ash Wednesday service.

Contemplative Prayer During the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of every month, a Contemplative Prayer Service is held in the church sanctuary at 12 noon.
